Immaterial
Immaterial is an experimental, mixed-media study on the ephemeral nature of the human body, exploring themes of natural erosion and metamorphosis by exposing large negatives of the nude body to mold and microorganisms and corrosive substances that perpetually eat away at the emulsion. The project does not aim to be morbid, but rather embrace the human connection to nature by illustrating that we are nature itself.
